Byron Bay Film Festival 2014
After 12 months of scouring the globe for eye-opening, invigorating and cutting-edge films, the 8th Byron Bay International Film Festival (BBFF 2014) is once again preparing for thousands of film lovers, directors, producers, actors and other creative spirits from around the world to descend upon Byron Bay for the 10 day celebration of film from the 28th of February to the 9th of March.

This year you will find appearances from actor Jack Thompson (The Great Gatsby) and comedian Akmal Saleh presenting the world premier of his powerful debut documentary Arab Spring, “Pharaoh vs. The Egyptians”. Along with a magnitude of films covering topics such as social justice, women’s issues, sexuality and relationships, spirituality, surfing and the changing environment.
Byron Bay Film Festival is Australia’s largest regional film festival with thousands turning up to attend, spanning across 5 different venues in Byron Bay.

This year as a special prelude the Byron Bay Film Festival will be hosting their annual Iconic Full Moon Beachside Screening on the same night as Valentine’s Day, Friday the 14th of February. Byron Bay Film Festival will be screening a selection of the best romantic short films from their past seven seasons under the stars and full moon with the Byron Bay Lighthouse as a back drop.
