Earth Hour 2014

Earth Hour 2014 is taking place on the 29th March. You may be familiar with Earth Hour, which started in Sydney in 2007 with the simple idea of switching off the lights for one-hour. Now the initiative has spread to more than 6,950 cities and towns in 152 countries and territories around the world.

This year Australian author, environmentalist and former Young Environmentalist of the Year, Anna Rose is National Manager of Earth Hour Australia 2014.

Anna Rose is undeniably one of the most influential young Australians who has previously been named one of Sydney’s 100 Most Influential People by The Sydney Morning Herald, was one of Cosmopolitan magazine’s 2013 “30 Game Changers Under 30”, a finalist for InStyle magazine’s 2013 Women of Style awards, and one of Madison magazine’s ‘20 Most Inspiring Women in Australia’. Plus recently winning the inaugural Trailblazer award from the Foundation for Young Australians.
