Sydney Intercultural Film Festival
Sydney’s famous Belmore Park will turn into a massive Cinema from the 13th-17th of November as part of the inaugural Sydney Intercultural Film Festival. Intercultural means relationship and exchange between different cultures. The Sydney Intercultural Film Festival celebrates multiculturalism through international films, music and cultural performances, workshops, seminars, market stalls and international film talent. Over 30 cultures will be represented and over 100 different international food, merchandise and entertainment stalls across the cinema park.
During the day the park will be the centre for performances and events and during the night it will turn into an open air cinema. There will be a magnitude of films this year placed into a number of different categories. Featured at the festival will be international films, feature films, short films, documentaries, mobile films, 3D/animation films and retro. Tickets to the Film festival are only $2 and can be purchased on any of the days of the 13th November through to the 17th of November.
On the opening night of the 13th former Australian Idol winner Cassey Donovan will kick it all off on the opening night with a live performance. The event is a great way to get out enjoy, socialize, learn and celebrate the multicultural community that is a major part of Australia.
